This is the bank my great grandmother banked at for over 20 years. She was very well respected at this bank.

We weren't ever close growing up but what i do remember was her sending me art supplies all the time. She always supported me and my love for art. Her and my great grandpa were the reason I was able to go to college. Im forever grateful for them.

So for a surprise painted her a picture of her favorite bank, and as this painting was in the mail she had a fall and ended up in the hospital. She ended up passing away but thankfully she got to see the painting. She even commented on the curtains in the windows. Made my heart very warm.

This bank painting is now hanging in the Itasca Bank in Illinois.
