This painting shows the loneliness of being in lust. Lust is an intense, often uncontrolled desire for something, most commonly understood as powerful sexual desire, but it can also refer to an overwhelming craving for power, money, life, or other things.
 Either that is lust of the eyes (the scope), lust of the flesh (the woman naked), or the pride of life (both) ((the woman proud of her body & the shooter having pride in domination over the women)). This explains the verse 1 John 2:16 "For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world". Lust is a lonely feeling. The pride you hold for yourself will keep you stuck in this cycle.
 
JUDE 1:16 "These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage"
----You see so many people who complain about men being bad or woman being bad when in reality its because of their own lustful desires they are left scared and their perception of love is damaged. Essentially its their fault for attending to the wrong things, the worldly things. It damages everyone involved. 
 
JUDE 1:17-19  " 17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
----- We are in the last days.. a lot of people are blind. Walking in their flesh, hurting each other. This is keeping us all divided when we need to come together as 1. This world will do anything to keep us divided. And lust is the easiest way to do so. Its a trap.
 
JUDE 1:20-23 "20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
--- This painting is my attempt. In hopes of someone who struggles with lust would be attracted to this painting and sees the seeds I planted within my work. I show these people mercy, bc we aren't fighting flesh in this world. We are fighting spirt. 
Ephesians 6:12. Every desire we have has a spirit behind it and all we can to is love one another through it.
